2003, ¹3 (12), p. 9-18, (engl.).
Here is investigated the queuing system with unreliable service system in steady,
as well as, unsteady state regime. Poisson stream of requests arrive into the
system. Service system undergoes failures distributed by hyperexponential law.
Request service time and queuing system repair time are distributed by arbitrary
law. Virtual time of waiting in queue is found. 9 Bibl. Engl.; summ. in rus.

the shoes and calculation of its characteristic parameters. G. Sharashenidze,
S. Sharashenidze. “Problems of Applied Mechanics”. Tbilisi, 2003, ¹3 (12), p.
28-36, (engl.).
In this paper, the basic characteristic kinematic and dynamic parameters of
optimal brake leverage for a railcar wheel with two-sided press on the shoes
are given. Mathematical expressions for the changes of kinematic and dynamic
parameters of leverage links in the case of existence of common arm are received.
By vectorial projecting of the closed contour of leverage mechanism there are
received rotary kinematic parameters of the links. The received results can
be used in further study of given leverage when determining kinetic energy of
the leverage and composing the system of differential equations for its motion.

On the taking into account of indices of reliability when designing
agricultural machines. R. Makharoblidze, Z. Makharoblidze, I. Dzirkvadze.
“Problems of Applied Mechanics”. Tbilisi, 2003, ¹3 (12), p. 37-40, (rus.).
The shortcoming of existent methods of calculation of agricultural machines
is that indices of reliability are not directly related with change in time
of physical and mechanical properties of constructional materials and also with
geometric, kinematics and dynamic parameters of machines and with exploitation
regime. Lack of such relations makes it difficult to determine optimum parameters
of machines by generalized criteria of reliability on the stage designing. Having
used the theory of standing out random function beyond the given level, the
functional dependence of coefficient of margin of safety upon statistical indices
of load, probability of safety work and upon service life of machine, is determined,
which enables to assign parameters of machines more substantially. 1 ill. Bibl.

Investigation of conditions of motion and oil expenditure of motor-lorry
with diesel engine. G. Emiridze, O. Ghelashvili, J. Iossebidze. “Problems
of Applied Mechanics”. Tbilisi, 2003, ¹3 (12), p. 41-44, (rus.).
Generalized model of motor-lorry with diesel engine has been worked out according
to motion phases; this model is adequate to its real work conditions on line;
on its basis one can construct oil expenditure model. Determining method of
oil expenditure by motor-lorry motion phase permits to make a prognosis of oil
expenditure in real operational conditions. Operational-dynamic characteristics,
suggested for transient and transitional motions of motor-lorry, permit to determine
a linear fuel oil expenditure and to evaluate driver’s skill for concrete conditions
of motor-lorry’s exploitation with diesel engine. 4 ill. Bibl. 2. Russ.

On integration of branches of Georgian light industry in foreign market
segmentation. T. Maglakelidze, L. Demetradze. “Problems of Applied
Mechanics”. Tbilisi, 2003, ¹3 (12), p. 61-63, (rus.).
Integration problem of Georgian purposeful markets with peculiarities of up-to-date
world market, segmentation diagram of foreign market and the aggregate of factors,
influent on consumer demand, are studied. General condition of branches of Georgian
light industry are described. The necessity of studying purposeful markets,
spontaneously formed in Georgian, and analytical investigating political, economic,
psychologic, structural and many different factors is shown, creating a possibility
to integrate branches of Georgian light industry in foreign market segmentation.
